Urška Opeka

Urška found her way into non formal education in 2016 when she attended her long term EVS project in Czech Republic in Inex-Sda organisation, specifically in the project called Football for development where she got closely familiar with the power of non formal education and different methods. She also participated as a camp leader in 2 international workcamps and took part in a long term training course (LTTC) organised by the Alliance. During the year of 2017 she also got experienced as a junior trainer in international trainings for future camp leaders. Participation in the LTTC and training experience allowed her to join the Alliance pool of trainers in 2018. In the same year Urška also took part in 1 year educational cycle GLEN (Global learning educational network) which focuses on global education, specifically racism, gender equality and power structures. With lots of volunteering experiences from many different projects as well as some training experiences Urška is ready to share her knowledge, experience, methods and energy as a trainer in the field of non formal education.
