- Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Southeast European Studies from the American University in Bulgaria and
- a joint Master’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies (GEMMA) Erasmus Mundus program of excellence from the University of Granada and the Institute for Humanities in Ljubljana.

- Her main fields of professional interestare:feminist pedagogy; sexuality education; dealing with the past, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
Nadja is an educator and a researcher. She has given lectures at the Philosophy and the Political Science Faculty in Belgrade, the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, the Institute for Criminological and Sociological Research, the research station Petnica, the Center for the Promotion of Science. She is a member of the Educational Research Association of Serbia (DIOS), the Section for Feminist Research and Critical Masculinity Studies (SeFeM) and the global Gender and Education Association (GEA, see more at http://www.genderandeducation.com/).
She is actively involved in the work of Group O (http://www.grupa-o.org/), Left Summit of Serbia (http://levisamitsrbije.org/) and the Alliance of Antifascists of Serbia (http://antifasisti.org/). Nadja is also a feminist antimilitarist activist, who still learns from and stands with Women in Black. She has also been fortunate to work with the feminist cultural center BeFem, ReflektorTheater, Femix and the Rock Camp for Girls, Skaska (Zrenjanin), the Alternative Center for Girls (Kruševac), Impuls (Tutin) and the Academic Initiative Forum 10 (Novi Pazar).
Finally, Nadja is a passionate vegetarian cook, and a persistent advocate for an equal division of all household chores among the genders and sexes.
